Training Schedule: | 6:00-7:30pm - Aikido/ Tai-Jutsu /Atemi-waza (Practical self-defense against knife/sword/gun/staff).
| | 6:00-7:00 pm - Iai-Jutsu (Shimmyo-Ken Ryu); Kata and Kumi-Iai. 7:00-7:55 pm - “Kid's in Budo” - Ages 8 - 12 yrs. Basic and fun calisthenics and stretching start every class. Kids, more than ever, need physical activity and exercise on a daily basis, and here they will get plenty of it! We want kids to have strong bodies, not just strong video game fingers! Curriculum is a combination of Aikido techniques, and basic karate (Strikes, blocks, parries, and kicks). Self-defense skills and peaceful interaction are a big theme in this age group's classes at Yeshua-Do Dojo. 8:00-8:30 pm - Jo-jutsu (staff fighting); Kata and Kumi-jo. | | 6:00-6:40pm – “Kid's of Yeshua” - for children 5 to 7 years of age is a "game centric" program. We have been developing this class for a few years and have had wonderful experiences with the kids. The program is less focused on martial arts techniques, and more centered on developing, polite, happy and healthy kids, with an aptitude for learning and helping others. Exercise, Positive Interaction and Love! 6:45-8:10pm - Aikido/ Tai-Jutsu – (relationship to the sword and staff). | | 6:00-8:00pm (2 sessions) - Practical self-defense for women (Aikido/Tai-jutsu/ Atemi-waza) - (Learn to recognize the signs of danger). | | 6:30-8:00pm - Practical self-defense at Salvation Army! | | 10:00 am regardless the weather, the sword training is held in an “Open-Sky Dojo” (Grey Mountain view), students should meet with Sensei at 10:00 am. (Northstar Rd., Copper Ridge, Whitehorse). 12:00-2:00pm – Reserved for Seminars, Christian spirituality, and Courses in Self-defense! | | |
